History:
Leadership
Xavier L. Jenkins – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) @ House of Miracles, Inc. (HOMI)
Dedicated to developing objectives for the organization’s growth and sustainability to service the targeted clientele. Has worked with some of the largest substance abuse and mental health treatment centers in Arizona. Retired U.S. Navy Veteran with 20 years of service as a Master Communications Technician and Instructor. He earned a Masters in Addiction Counseling and Masters in Professional Counseling with an emphasis on Family, Child and Marriage Counseling from Grand Canyon University. In addition, he also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science from Western International University Cum Laude.
His counseling skills required him to work with residential patients, detoxification, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization, medication assisted treatment (Methadone) and a variety of other standard outpatient programs. Has extensive experience partnering with the State of Arizona Drug Court Program, where he successfully offered court ordered counseling for justice involved individuals in preventing domestic violence, DUI therapy, shoplifting and substance misuse, just to name a few. In addition, Mr. Jenkins expanded his skills while working with various Arizona Tribal Native American Communities through their programs addressing outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Working with activists for the homeless population has provided him with additional applicable skills to administer in his chosen profession. Such as cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy using a substance abuse counseling approach.

Gail Brown: (Board Member)
Gail is an Experienced Licensed Master Social Worker and behavior health professional with more than 10 years of clinical experience, including case management, team management, family, individual, and group therapy expertise. Specialized therapy includes CBT, DBT and EMDR. Passionate about helping with social issues at large. Dynamic, compassionate, and dedicated worker, skilled in the delivery of human services.
Myrtle Hall: (Board Member)
A native of Arizona, is a one-of-a-kind Realtor who has developed her brand from self-motivation, integrity and thinking outside the box. She is passionate about connecting with the nonprofit and community service agency House of Miracles, Inc.
To be able to utilize her expertise in providing knowledge and information needed to assist the organization. Combining her skills of leadership management with sales and marketing, Myrtle has been recognized and received top honors in her field.
Sherry Mosely: (Advisory Board-Human Resources Consultant )
Brings a wealth of knowledge in managing Human Resource Departments with some of the largest social service agencies in Arizona along with managing departments on Arizona and New Mexico Reservations. In addition, Sherry brings her strength of accounting and compliance to the organization. We are excited to announce that later this year we will congratulate her as “Dr. Sherry Mosely.”
Sharon Ukaha: (Advisory Board – Asst. Secretary)
Retired school teacher with the Oakland, CA School District. During Sharon’s time in Oakland, CA she was heavily involved in a variety of community social programs designed to alleviate poverty, promoting education, and economic empowerment. After retiring, for several years Sharon was a part of the dance team “The Golden Grannies, that performed during the NBA Phoenix Suns games.”
Courtney Jenkins: (Advisory Board – Physical Fitness Consultant)
Twenty-seven years – Retired First Responder with the City of Phoenix Fire Department. Courtney performed the duties of a Firefighter/Paramedic, Engineer/Driver, Captain, and Chief
Officer. He is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, specializing in Motivational Interviewing Methodologies. He continues assisting firefighter candidates with Candidate Physical Agility Testing (CPAT), and Oral Interview preparation.
